The Deepwood Foundation, Mentor Ohio,  provides funding and assistance to children and adults with developmental disabilities, such as Mental Retardation, Autism, Cerebral Palsy, Down Syndrome, and behavioral challenges among others.

It supports several programs including providing camp and after school scholarships; therapeutic and specialized equipment; health and safety items; emergency referral and assistance; advocacy; community education; and other unique support not available through the Lake County Board of Mental Retardation and Developmental Disabilities and traditional sources.

Created by parents, families and professionals in 1996, the Deepwood Foundation, a 501(c)(3)is a nonprofit organization.
