The Deepwood Foundation is “Helping Individuals with Special Needs - Help Themselves.” For 10 years the foundation has supported people as they reach for the stars and dream the impossible dream. The Deepwood Foundation is a not-for-profit charitable foundation that relies on the
support of individuals and organizations in the community to help individuals with special
needs help themselves. The mission of the Deepwood Foundation is to make grants and gifts to programs and activities supporting persons with mental retardation and developmental disabilities; to aid such persons directly where appropriate; and to promote community awareness of the needs and abilities of disabled persons. These funds help the foundation, and its
volunteer board of directors fulfill the mission of making grants and gifts to programs and activities supporting individuals with special needs. |
